Three Cities Group announces new identity

November 24th, 2011 by H&R | Categories: hotels, industry

The Three Cities Group has announced a new name and brand identity.

“In tough economic times it has become essential to set yourself aside from your competitors if you are to be successful. Besides the obvious method of discounting, providing exceptional, recognisable, well priced, convenient service is what Three Cities is striving for, to win customers over” says Mike Lambert, Three Cities group CEO. “As a clear indication of our commitment to this cause, the Hotel Operating Division will be rebranded Three Cities Exceptional Hotels”.

“The core of our business remains hospitality and exceptional hospitality is what the focus of our hotel division will be about going into the future. Whilst constantly improving productivity to provide competitive pricing, we will not lose focus of what our industry is about,” says Lambert.

The problem with the rebranding paints a picture of Hotels that are exceptional and could lead to oversell guest expectations. The service aspect described as exceptional is not conveyed. I suggest “Three Cities Exceptional Service Hotels”.

    Mike,

Exceptional is it NOT!!! Any more retrenchments planned for 2012

Pay your staff maybe, look after them especially the long serving ones and clean up your backyard of bull that you spread and preach about.

Your staff are your biggest asset, not your lavish lifestyle.
