Sundowners at SuperSport Park

SuperSport Park cricket ground in Centurion and home of the Nashua Titans recently celebrated its 25th birthday. SuperSport Park is more than a cricket ground; it also hosts conferences, wedding receptions, product launches and wine tastings with its banqueting facilities.

Wine and brandy producer KWV celebrated the occasion by announcing it is the official wine sponsor for the SuperSport Park’s Presidential Suite for the 2011/2012 cricket season, with the KWV Classic Collection. The birthday celebration took place in the President Suite with members of Cricket South Africa and retired cricket players in attendance.

“Guests were treated to a selection of wines and stood a chance of winning one of two KWV brandy hampers each with a bottle of KWV 10 and 15 Year old – put together 25 Years old,” says Chanel Kruger, category manager of KWV Wines South Africa.

For the duration of the season, guests in the Presidential Suite will be treated to an assortment of KWV wines. Earlier this year KWV refreshed its Lifestyle range with the introduction of the KWV Classic Collection, consisting of eight varietals: Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinotage Rosé, Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz.
