With chef Leanne Roberts and GM Charl Whitlock at the helm of the new De Kloof restaurant, Pretoria now has a new culinary offering that aims to please guests looking for a fine dining option.

“The people at De Kloof are passionate about bringing together the finest food and wines.  We represent a movement against mediocrity and compromise. Our mission is to create dining experiences so memorable that you will lie in bed in the mornings and still half-dream about them,” says the management team of De Kloof. “We spend a great deal of time and effort sourcing the best suppliers to ensure our standards are maintained – from meat, to beer, to wine and coffee.”

Sourcing local, fresh ingredients, the team at De Kloof will change the menu on a weekly basis to keep guests coming back for new options.

“The world of wine is vast and exciting and we love bringing our old favourites and new discoveries to De Kloof.” say owners Charl and Leon Whitlock, who profess to tasting more wines than one should to make sure every wine on the list offers something special for diners.

De Kloof uses WineStation technology to preserve and dispense wines, and to make sure they are served at the correct temperature.  Patrons can sample any of the wines in these systems at their leisure to make sure they order exactly what they like.

Front of house manager, Precious Molefe, also brings years of experience to the restaurant’s team and strives to make sure all of the guests’ needs are met at De Kloof.

De Kloof is located on the Waterkloof Golf Estate and can cater for functions and parties.
