Le Franschhoek Hotel & Spa says it has seen a 400% increase in corporate conferencing.
General manager Eben Lassen attributes the increase in business at the hotel, which has five conference rooms, to what he calls a “partnership mind-set we share with our clients to ensure event success.”
The hotel offers the largest conference facilities in the Franschhoek winelands area and has 63 rooms.
Lassen says: “Due to the economic climate, it is essential to find a conferencing venue that offers value and caters to business needs while not compromising on a luxurious, memorable experience.”
The situation of the hotel makes for innovative conference break-aways, such as horse-back riding, team-building exercises, time out at Camelot Spa or soaking up the café culture of the Franschhoek village.
“Our facilities, unique activities and most importantly our family of staff are key ingredients to holding a successful conference or event, all of which was evident during a month-long BMW Germany launch earlier this year – which they announced had been their best launch ever” adds Lassen.
The hotel has a tennis court, ballroom, and a cigar lounge.
