Fly the Flag day sees hotel staff celebrate

Staff at the Riverside Hotel & Spa in Durban joined industry colleagues and thousands of employees at companies all over the country in celebrating the day which marked the 100-day countdown to the opening ceremony of the World Cup in South Africa.

Today was Fly the Flag day and the idea was to create and communicate awareness of the important role each person plays in contributing to nation building. Staff at hotels and restaurants have been encouraged to wear the shirt of their favourite team every Friday. Many companies are already hosting Football Fridays to show their readiness to be good hosts when the football world arrives.
