InnStaff opens branch in Knysna
February 21st, 2011 by H&R | Categories: products, tourismInnStaff, a member of the JSE-listed Kelly Group, has opened a branch in Knysna to take advantage of growth opportunities in the area.
The company has already secured the contract to manage the staffing requirements of the Pezula Hotel Resort, situated on Knysna’s eastern head and recently voted in the top 10 of the world’s 20 best golfing resorts by the British website primelocations.com
In terms of the contract, InnStaff will provide hospitality and administration staff to the resort’s hotel, golf club and spa as well as to its Castles on Noetzie Beach.
The Kelly Group’s people resource planning system, K-log, is said to produce payroll savings of up to 15% and a 40% reduction in headcount administration costs wherever the system has been implemented.
MD Peter Czakan says the contract will serve as a beachhead for the new branch to expand organically by taking advantage of the growing hospitality industry in the area, which he says is the most popular international tourism destination in the Western Cape after Cape Town.
The branch is headed by Louisa Houghton who is responsible for the daily operations as well as garnering new business. “Given Louisa’s extensive experience of sales and the hospitality industry, we are confident that she will succeed in growing the InnStaff brand in Knysna and the Garden Route,” says Czakan.
