The “Tobias” is skippered by two experienced Skippers that live on board in private facilities. The skippers have knowledge of the lake and its surround and the houseboat is serviced daily whilst on water.
A normal two-day trip includes embarking at 13h00 on the day of arrival at the Jozini Tiger Lodge jetty with departure at 14h00, after a briefing by the skippers.
The following morning includes a slow cruise at a time suiting the group to some of the prime fishing hotspots which can be enjoyed on the towed tender boat. Evening anchorage is in one of the gorges and the final morning has a later start as the vessel returns to the jetty.
Current rate is R4 000 per night per houseboat on a self -catering basis.
