The hotel was recognised recently for design innovation by the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Innovative Excellence in Property Development Awards 2011 in the hotel category. It was one of five Sandton-based category winners, of the nine awards made.
“We look forward to continued success, and can’t wait to see what next year will have in store for us,” enthuses Jensen.
Park Inn by Radisson is Rezidor’s young, dynamic and innovative mid-market brand. Introduced in January 2003 with the Park Inn Berlin Alexanderplatz. The brand reached the milestone of 100+ hotels in operation and under development after only five years.
Today, Park Inn by Radisson features more than 130 operating hotels with more than 24 500 rooms across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The Rezidor Hotel Group continues its growth strategy in Africa, with three more Park Inn by Radisson hotels opening their doors soon including Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore, Park Inn Polokwane and Park Inn Tete in Mozambique.
