The five-star Peermont D’oreale Grande hotel at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg has added another trophy to its display case: the Agoda Golden Circle Award 2011. The hotel was one of four South African hotels that made the grade this year in this award that recognises online excellence.

This elegant hotel is part of the busy casino, conference and entertainment resort located next to the OR Tambo International Airport and is a flagship property in the Peermont Group. It was among 381 hotels worldwide that made a positive impression on the online booking site. The top award is made to hotels which provide a superior online product.

Emperors Palace general manager for hotels and resort operations, Wayne Hill, says: “The international award epitomises our online commitment, followed by positive online customer reviews and comments. I thank our hotel staff, more importantly the Reservations Department and the respective teams who managed and implemented our online strategies. It’s a privilege to know that Emperors Palace is at the forefront of enabling technology.”
